Is This a World Record for Balloons Popped in Succession With a Laser?

This isn't the first time we've brought you the amazing balloon-laser tricks of "WorldScott," but it is the first time we've seen him attempt a world record.

Here he sets up 100 balloons to pop with a 750mW - 1000mW (1W) Spyder III Krypton Laser in a domino-like fashion. If successful, it could be the world record for number of balloons popped in a single line.

Check it out:

WorldScott explains on his YouTube channel, the balloons are held in place "with specially modified cups filled with water" to  prevent them from "jostling other balloons out of position."

WorldScott says he has submitted this to the Guinness Book of World Records. See more of WorldScott's laser-balloon antics here.
