Why Did Obama's Comments Draw Boos in Florida? (Hint: It Involves Sports)

Video

"In Illinois, there's just one team: the Chicago Bears."

Yesterday, while speaking to a crowd of Florida supporters, President Barack Obama made the unforced error of talking up a group that is apparently unpopular with a large contingent of Floridians - the Chicago Bears.

"In Illinois, there's just one team: the Chicago Bears," Obama said with a laugh. The crowd reacted with a series of catcalls and boos.

To be fair to the president, it's not clear that the crowd was booing him, so much as his team.
