Sam Gordon is in little league football and has run for 1,911 yards with an 8.2-yard average per carry. Gordon has scored 35 touchdowns, and has even been compared by a YouTube commenter to Barry Sanders.

Did we mention Gordon is a girl playing on an all boys tackle team?

USA Today reported that Gordon is in the Gremlin age group, which consists mostly of 9-year-olds, in the Salt Lake City area. As seen in a compilation of footage uploaded into one video on YouTube, it's clear that she knows how to rock a pigskin:

As Bleacher Report and The Big Lead point out, the stats in the captions in the video should be taken at face value, meaning they could be exaggerated as there is no other verification. But the footage shows #6 surpassing her male counterparts as she continues to out-speed them for touchdowns and slips through their tackles. When Gordon does take a hit, she takes it like a man -- not to mention her own take-downs of opponents.

Bleacher Report writes that it questions "why any kid is running the ball 233 times," but also states "when you coach a kid's team and have a touchdown guarantee like Gordon seems to be, you find anyway to get the ball into her hands."

So far the video has more than 251, 000 views on YouTube since being posted Monday.

TheBlaze contacted Brent Gordon, who posted the video and said he was Sam's father. He told us in a message that his daughter started running sprints at the end of her older brother's practice with the team and was faster than the older boys too. That's when she decided to try out for football.

In tryouts, Brent Gordon said Sam was faster than all the 172 boys, which is why she was singled out by the coach as the primary ball carrier.

"The very first time she ran the ball in a game she scored a touchdown," Brent Gordon wrote. "The boys loved Sam and a few of them seemed to have a crush on her - it was cute. The boys on her team looked up to her. It was a great experience!"
