Watch S.E. Cupp Rip MSNBC Co-Host for Arguing Secession Petitions Prove That 'Southern People' Are Racist

During MSNBC's "The Cycle" on Wednesday, TheBlaze TV's S.E. Cupp slammed her fellow MSNBC co-host Touré after he accused Southern states of being racist for filing secession petitions due to President Barack Obama's policies. He said petitions demonstrate that "Southern people" really don't want to "be in a country run by a black man."

"The slew of secession petitions out of the south really interests me,” Touré said. “This idea that there are a lot of Southern people who want to have nothing to do with Obama’s America."

“I think they’re talking about, ‘we don’t want to be in a country run by a black man,'" he added.

“That’s so offensive that you’re maligning an entire region of the country and injecting race into their psyches because they don’t like the polices of this president,” Cupp replied.

Cupp went on to say that "secessionism" is "offensive" to her but it's "equally offensive to call these folks racist when you know nothing of their viewpoints and don't know anything of their criticisms."
