TheBlaze's S.E. Cupp said she has no plans to run for mayor of New York City, despite the urging of two political consultants.
Cupp said Roger Stone, a longtime Republican operative and former Richard Nixon aide, and Sam Nunberg, a New York City-based consultant, first approached her last year, and that Nunberg came to her again this week urging her to consider a GOP bid.
"[Nunberg] told me that he'd taken it on himself to come up with a strategy and a plan and has approached some potential donors," Cupp told TheBlaze. "I've got more jobs now than I can keep track of and I love them all, my plate is full, and I have no plans to leave the world of commentary for the world of public office -- to everyone's relief I'm sure."
She added, "I am not considering a run at this time."
Stone tweeted Friday that urging Cupp to run "is a [Nunberg] project -- I love SE but I'm for @manhattanmadam Kristin Davis for Mayor #NYC #2013."
Stone also advised Davis -- whose prostitution ring clients included ex-N.Y. Gov. Eliot Spitzer -- on her failed 2010 New York gubernatorial bid.
Nunberg told the Daily Caller Thursday he's still working to get Cupp to consider a mayoral bid.
