Dolphin Ensnared in Fishing Line Swims to Divers for Help -- See the Amazing Underwater Rescue

Even if a wild animal in need is being helped by humans, they're still likely to offer resistance. This was not the case for a wild bottlenose dolphin tangled in a fisherman's line that not only welcomed the help but sought it out himself.

A video posted to YouTube shows that the ensnared dolphin actually approached the divers in a plea to non-verbally ask for help. The video's text states that the dolphin swam to the light where the group was viewing manta rays.

The professional divers in group were able to free the aquatic mammal in the event that took place Jan. 11 but not the hook.

The video shows the dolphin swimming around the manta rays, sort of lingering around the group. The video states that the divers decided to take action to untangle the dolphin based on its behavior.

When the dolphin swam toward one of the divers, it didn't struggle as the diver began to undo the fishing line. The dolphin could have easily swam, but it stuck around and allowed him to help. Even when the dolphin went up for air, it came back and allowed the divers to try and remove the hook. Although unsuccessful at removing the hook, the line was gone, which the video stated improved the dolphin's range of motion.
