Democratic polling firm Anzalone Liszt Grove Research is out with a new survey today that shows wide support for same-sex marriage, even among a majority of Republican voters:
Three-quarters of voters (75%) believe that it is a Constitutional right, up from 71% in 2011. This sentiment spans across party lines, as 91% of Democrats, 75% of Independents, and 56% of Republican voters all believe the freedom to marry the person you love is a Constitutional right.
It's worth noting that Anzalone Liszt Grove Research is a recently-merged polling company formed by two separate pollsters which in the past have worked for the Obama presidential campaign and the Arizona Democratic Party for Former Governor Janet Napolitano (now serving as secretary of national security).
