Here's your feel-good story of the day

An anonymous National Parks ranger used social media to share the following heartwarming letter he received in the mail from a young park-goer.  In the letter, a girl identified as Evie confesses to taking home two sticks from the park.

“I know I’m not supposed to take thinks from the park, so I am sending them back. Please put them in nature,” Evie writes.

Full text of the letter after the jump.

Dear Park Rangers

I am a Yosemite Junior Ranger. I went to Yosemite recently and accidentally brought home two sticks.

I know I'm not supposed to take things from the park, so I am sending them back. Please put them in nature.

Thank you,

Evie
