An anonymous National Parks ranger used social media to share the following heartwarming letter he received in the mail from a young park-goer. In the letter, a girl identified as Evie confesses to taking home two sticks from the park.
“I know I’m not supposed to take thinks from the park, so I am sending them back. Please put them in nature,” Evie writes.

Dear Park Rangers
I am a Yosemite Junior Ranger. I went to Yosemite recently and accidentally brought home two sticks.
I know I'm not supposed to take things from the park, so I am sending them back. Please put them in nature.
