Dan Friedman, a reporter with the New York Daily News, on Wednesday confronted Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) with a copy of that day's issue of the tabloid.
"SHAME ON U.S." blared the cover, accompanied by photos of each of the 20 Sandy Hook elementary school shooting victims. The cover was a response to Reid deciding against including an assault weapons ban in a gun control bill up for debate in the Senate next week.
Reid told Friedman... he was "not doing press this morning."
