Watch: 'Eric Holder' Gets Grilled on DOJ Scandals During Tough Interview With School Paper

"Comedy is a rubber-tipped sword. It's a good way to make a point without drawing blood."

With his department embroiled in multiple scandals, Attorney General Eric Holder granted an exclusive interview to a junior high reporter to clear up some of the controversy surrounding the Justice Department. The young reporter, Carl, grilled the attorney general on Operation Fast and Furious, Benghazi and reporter surveillance.

Alright, so it wasn't a real interview. But conservative comedian Steven Crowder's latest sketch video seeks to make a serious point through the humorous mock Holder interview.

"Comedy is a rubber-tipped sword," Crowder told TheBlaze in an exclusive interview Thursday. "It's a good way to make a point without drawing blood."

And with all the developing news about the federal government's massive domestic surveillance programs, Crowder says the video's timing couldn't be more appropriate.

"The most damning thing is that when I wrote this video, there were merely suspicions of the U.S. government spying and phone records being seized," he said. "It just comes as coincidence that as I managed to finish editing this and have it uploaded ,the NSA scandal confirms everything we've feared."

"But remember, we're just silly, reactionary fools. Silly Conservatives," he added.
