Jefferson Wayne Schrader passed away at 3:45 a.m. Friday. He was 64 years old.
He had developed anthosclerotic coronary artery/ischemic heart disease, his wife, Harriet, told TheBlaze, and suffered from several heart attacks.
"They debilitated him to the point that he was no longer able to enjoy the pleasures of life- including golf, fishing and hunting," she said.

TheBlaze featured Mr. Schrader in February regarding his ongoing struggle with the U.S. government over his right to bear arms.
Schrader, a U.S. Navy veteran, had been stripped of his right to own a gun due to an altercation some four decades ago.
“It’s a depressing thing. A depressing thing,” he told TheBlaze in a phone interview in February, “to have the government treat you like that. It’s not, well, it’s not a good thing.”
Mr. Schrader is succeeded by his wife, Harriet.
Please keep their family in your prayers.
