California police say four teenagers beat a homeless man and killed his dog Monday night.
According to the Fresno Police Department, the vicious attack took place around 10 p.m. last night when the 45-year-old man was confronted by teenagers who threw beer bottles at his head and savagely beat him.
The suspects then turned their ire on the homeless man's dog Snoopy, kicking the dog until it died, The Fresno Bee reported.
The homeless man then reportedly escaped and tracked down a police officer.
As of Tuesday afternoon, two individuals were in police custody, held on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and cruelty to animals.
