Chula Vista resident Linda Pickenpaugh is accused of intentionally scratching four cars earlier this month, KFMB-TV reported.

According to KFMB-TV, the vandalism was caught on surveillance video and shows the elderly woman keying the cars as she walked her dog in the neighborhood.

"We're not sure of the possible motive. She did mention she was going through some financial distress. We think she randomly selected these individuals," Chula Vista Police Department Captain Lon Turner said.

Pickenpaugh now reportedly faces up to 5-years in prison for the damaging totaling roughly $4,000.
