White House dispatching Biden to tout Stimulus anniversary

The Obama administration is marking the fifth anniversary of the so-called Stimulus package with an appearance Wednesday by Vice President Joe Biden in Granite City, Ill.

At America's Central Port, Biden will make public remarks on "the need for continued investment in infrastructure to create jobs and grow our economy," according to a White House schedule.

The Stimulus package, nearly a trillion dollars in tax cuts and spending on government projects, was passed in 2009
