A northern Illinois man has reportedly filed a lawsuit against Kraft after he says the company intended to inflict emotional distress on him by tampering with a box of Macaroni & Cheese.

According to WTVO, Matthew Ashcraft is seeking damages from the food company, contending that Kraft wanted to emotionally harm him.
It was not clear how or why Ashcraft thought the company intended to inflict emotional distress on him.
The man, however, reportedly says he was forced to take the issue to court, claiming Kraft otherwise refused to resolve the matter.
