At least 17 people were taken to area hospitals as firefighters battled a massive 9-alarm blaze in Boston Wednesday afternoon.
The condition of the individuals was not known, Boston Emergency Medical Services spokesman Nick Martin told the Boston Globe.
Earlier, it was reported that three firefighters had been taken to area hospitals, two with burn injuries and one who was in cardiac arrest.
It was not clear how the fire started, but the Boston Fire Department reportedly declared it a crime scene late in the afternoon.
