...shredding like crazy on the four-stringed instrument.

The ukulele isn't exactly the stringed instrument one associates with thrash metal, an aggressive genre characterized by insanely fast tempos and made popular by the likes of Metallica, Megadeth, and Anthrax.

But musician Rob Scallon has smashed that stereotype to smithereens with his video cover of “War Ensemble" by Slayer, shredding like crazy on the four-stringed instrument, Metal Insider noted.

If you happen upon Scallon's YouTube page, you'll see he's quite adept on a number of other instruments, including bass guitar, six-string guitar, and (wow!) eight-string guitar.
