Marksman Completes 'World's Most Difficult Trick Shot' Twice in a Row…and Once Backwards
July 24, 2014
"Popping two balloons twice in a row without any edits or cuts."
Splitting a bullet has been called the "world's most difficult trick shot."
The YouTube channel Rated RR found someone to take on the challenge who not only hit the nail on the head, so to speak, but did it more than once, "popping two balloons twice in a row without any edits or cuts."
Rated RR's latest video is part of its "Breakdown" series, where it takes stunts in movies and video games and shows how they're done in real life. The inspiration for this trick came from the film "Lucy," starring actress Scarlet Johansson, which will debut in theaters across the country Friday.
While "Lucy" demonstrates super-human power by unlocking the full potential of her brain, Rated RR found someone with super-human firearm skills.
Making the trick even more difficult, the bullet used was a .22 caliber not a .45.
"There's only one guy I know with that kind of super-human potential," Rated RR said.
Watch what it looks like to split a bullet in two by shooting it directly at a sharp blade three times, one of which was a backwards shot that used an iPad as a mirror for reflective guidance:
