Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Tuesday appealed to Muslims around the world to help arm Palestinian terror groups in their fight against the "rabid dog" Israel.
"This rabid dog, this rapacious wolf, has attacked innocent people and humanity must show a reaction. This is genocide, a catastrophe of historical scale," Khamenei said in a speech marking the end of the month of Ramadan, Reuters reported.

A Twitter account associated with Khameni emphasized the points further:
Today a rabid dog in the region is doing genocide& infanticide in #Gaza.Leaders of this crime should be condemned and punished.#KillerIsrael— Khamenei.ir (@Khamenei.ir) 1406609292.0
Today Palestinians lack basic necessities of life, weapons & facilities. Muslim countries have a duty to provide #Palestine w/those needs.— Khamenei.ir (@Khamenei.ir) 1406621499.0
Unlike what US said abt disarming #Hamas& #IslamicJihad, entire world esp. world of Islam have a duty to arm #Palestine as much as they can.— Khamenei.ir (@Khamenei.ir) 1406612933.0
Khamenei lambasted western countries for raising the possibility of disarming Hamas.
"They have been pounding innocent people day and night and these men women and children are defending themselves with minimum means, and now Americans and Europeans want to take even that away ... so that those merciless beasts could pound without qualm," Khamenei said.
Speaking to hundreds of thousands and on live television during the Eid al-Fitr prayer at the Imam Khomeini grand mosque in Tehran, Khamenei said it is the duty of Muslims to arm Palestinians.
"Everyone, whoever has the means, especially in the Islamic world, they should do what they can to arm the Palestinian nation,” he said.
