"All natural"
Step aside "Blue Moon," forget it "Rocky Road" and don't even try to compete "Cookie Dough." A Spanish physicist might have created the "Everlasting Gobstopper" of ice cream.
Though "Xamaleon" ice cream does not change flavors like the fictional candy created by Willie Wonka nor will it last forever, it does, however, change color.
Created by Manuel Linares, who also has a culinary background, the revolutionary ice cream sold in his Calle Raval Blanes shop IceXperience is "all natural,"changing color based on the temperature and acidity of the person's mouth, Diari de Girona reported (via an unofficial translation). The current flavor called "Tutti-Frutti" changes from purple to pink when it's eaten.

Linares wouldn't give Diari de Girona more details on how the process works because he's hoping to patent the recipe, but he did reveal that exotic fruit is part of the process.

If you're wanting to try the icy treat and you don't live in Spain, you're going to have to wait for it. According to the U.K.'s the Mirror, Linares is trying to find buyers who might carry Xamaleon in other countries.
