Afraid of Spiders? Be Glad This Didn't Happen to You

This could be enough to keep an arachnophobe from ever leaving the house again.

A Polish prankster who delights in making people scream devised something that at first blush is absolutely horrifying — until you realize what you're actually seeing: a gigantic spider the size of a dog, or, more accurately, a dog wearing a spider costume.

He unleashed his "mutant giant spider dog" on unsuspecting victims to their sheer terror, but for our laughing delight. (But really, what would be your first thought coming across this at night?)

Here he planted cameras inside a parking garage elevator and lay in wait with the dog over him...

…for two women to open the doors to the "horrific" scene.

There were some other shenanigans featuring fake body parts and even a large "web" that nearly trapped one victim running from the faux monster.
