Beck jokingly asked 'For the Record' to investigate this major annoyance

Glenn Beck recently bought a new pair of shoes, and expressed frustration with the shoelaces during the daily briefing on Tuesday.

"I want to know, who laces the shoes? Because every time I've ever bought a pair of shoes they're always laced by like, some Martian," he said, taking off his shoes and re-lacing them. "I don't know how they even do it!"

After a discussion about who is lacing the shoes, Beck declared: "We'd like a For the Record on the shoelace thing."

By 5:00 p.m. for The Glenn Beck Program, Beck's team had created a mock trailer for a For the Record episode about the subject.

"For the Record uncovers a shocking conspiracy: shoelaces meant to intentionally complicate your life," a dramatic voice began. "TheBlaze's exclusive investigation into who's lacing up your shoes..."
