See What Happens When a Good Samaritan Refuses to Let Ferguson Rioters Destroy a Local Business

"That ain't your business! Oh my God!"

A particularly courageous person was caught on video defending a Papa John's pizza store against Ferguson, Missouri, rioters Monday night.

It was initially reported that the person was a woman and the manager of the store on West Florissant Avenue, but the franchise's area supervisor who saw the video told TheBlaze on Wednesday that all employees were gone long before rioters went to work.

"It's just a random citizen trying to do the right thing," Jon Smith said. "And that's more impressive to me because the person has nothing invested in it."

The clip is part of a longer video posted by blogger Victor Maggio featuring a number of terrifying scenes from Ferguson after a grand jury decided not to pursue an indictment against white police officer Darren Wilson after he fatally shot 18-year-old Michael Brown, who was black.

Here an individual wearing a ski mask was punching the window of the Papa John's store.

Then the good Samaritan walked up and confronted the rioter.

At first the rioter seemed surprised, walking away from the window — but then the rioter came back for more, flashing what appears to be the finger at the good Samaritan.

Another rioter without a face covering also showed up and began yelling.

Soon the first rioter began kicking the window as the good Samaritan tried talking to him...

...then the rioter got physical and pushed the individual.

But the good Samaritan refused to budge from the doorway.

You can hear one onlooker yell, "That ain't your business! Oh my God! She's gonna put her life in danger over a Papa John's." (It isn't completely clear if the good Samaritan is male or female.)

At this point the rioter without a face covering came over, put his arm around the rioter wearing ski mask, and the two appeared to walk away.

A message left Wednesday at Papa John's corporate wasn't immediately returned.

Here's the video. The clip in question begins at the 1:10 mark. (Content warning: The video as a whole contains disturbing images and rough language):
