The Most Moving Part of This Beautiful 'Angels We Have Heard on High' Rendition Comes at the Three-Minute Mark

1,039 people donning angel costumes, among other familiar biblical garb, descended upon Rock Canyon Park...

Just days after more than 1,000 people came together in Provo, Utah, to break the world record for the largest-ever living nativity display, The Piano Guys, David Archuleta, Peter Hollens and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir have collectively released a stunning music video including portions of that nativity scene intermixed with their beautiful rendition of "Angels We Have Heard on High."

The group put its own unique spin on the traditional song, making their newly released version of the popular hymn that commemorates Christ's birth available free for download.

Throughout the accompanying music video, which was released Friday morning, The Piano Guys, Archuleta and others are seen performing the carol, as scenes with actors portraying Mary, Joseph, Jesus and other nativity characters are acted out, truly bringing the biblical story to life.

The most moving moment comes at the 3:00 mark when hundreds of angels approach the nativity scene.

Watch the video below:

As TheBlaze previously reported, the nativity-themed scenes were filmed December 1 when 1,039 people donning angel costumes, among other  biblical garb, descended upon Utah's Rock Canyon Park, where they proceeded to break the previous record of 889 participants that was set in the Guinness Book of World Records last year.

And it wasn’t just 1,039 people who came out en masse to take part in the display. The record-breaking nativity included a donkey, a camel and sheep as well. Read more about it here.
