Police Trying to Determine if Crime Was Committed After Fans Engage in 'Sex Act' on Stage at Punk Rock Concert

"This is certainly a first for us."

Two fans were photographed engaged in a “sex act” at a Dead Kennedys concert in Solana Beach, California, on Thursday, KGTV reported Monday.

The news outlet reportedly obtained an explicit photo showing a woman “fully exposed” on the stage at Belly Up Tavern. More from the report:

A witness, identified only as Chris, said fans took photos of the man and woman’s public sex act and most went back to listening to the concert. The two were reportedly kicked out by security eventually.

Police told KGTV that an individual that exposes his or herself in public can be charged with a misdemeanor if observers are “offended.” However, there have been no formal complaints made with the police. Law enforcement is still looking into the matter.

Belly Up Tavern released a short statement about the incident:

"Of course, we don't condone this activity in our establishment and security stopped it right away. This is certainly a first for us."

“I think it was more an oddity, people just saw something strange for a few minutes,” Chris said.
