Reality TV Star Reveals His 'Love and Support' for Netanyahu — and Why He's 'Down For Bombing Iran\

"I think we should have invaded Iran instead of Iraq."

Reality TV star Reza Farahan of Bravo's "Shahs of Sunset" offered up his support for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during an appearance on HuffPo Live on Tuesday, with Farahan openly proclaiming that he is "down for bombing Iran."

"Tell Netanyahu that I totally love and support everything he's doing — and if he wants to bomb Iran, I'm totally in support of him," he told host Caroline Modarressy-Tehrani, who appeared somewhat surprised by his remark.

The Tehran-born Farahan, whose mother is Muslim and father is Jewish, proceeded to clarify his stance.

"I'm down for bombing Iran only because I think we should have invaded Iran instead of Iraq," he said, noting that Iraqis didn't want Americans there. "Because the Iranians would have appreciated it and they would have been liberated."

Farahan then summarized his views on how Iran should be punished for the treatment of its people.

"So, sanctions on Iran, bomb the bad people in Iran — and help them, liberate them, they want to be free," he said.

These remarks were delivered right before Netanyahu addressed a joint session of Congress on Tuesday.
