How to Cook Bacon With Fully Automatic M16 Rifle

"So much America right now."

Competitive shooter Dustin Ellermann has combined two of man’s favorite things: guns and bacon.

Hunters can even use Ellermann’s unconventional method to cooking bacon while they are out hunting in the wild. Lucky for you, a video demonstration of the “gun grill” was uploaded on YouTube Wednesday. The video’s description describes how it’s done:

…he puts rashers of bacon around a silencer attached to an M16 assault rifle, wraps them in tin foil, and fires until the meat starts smoking. It apparently takes several minutes and 90 rounds to cook the bacon.

It apparently works too:

And what words came to Ellermann’s mind as he wrapped a slice of bacon around the silencer attached to the M16? “So much America right now.”
