Stranger Savagely Attacks Pregnant Woman and 'Removes' Baby From Her Womb: Police

After stabbing the pregnant victim, the attacker then "drove herself and the baby to the hospital."
Police in Longmont, Colorado, say a woman savagely cut a baby out of another woman’s womb, killing the infant. The mother is expected to survive, the Longmont Times-Call reported.
Upon going to an area home, the victim was “attacked and her baby was removed from her,” a police spokesperson said.
After stabbing the pregnant victim, the attacker then “drove herself and the baby to the hospital,” according to Daily Camera reporter Alex Burness.
Longmont PD: Both the stabbed woman, who we're told has undergone successful surgery, and the assailant are still at the hospital.

To be clear, the suspect, who arrived at hospital claiming she'd miscarried, isn't in custody yet. She remains @ hospital. Victim there too.

Police also reportedly said the two women did not know each other. Officers had yet to reveal a motive in the attack on Wednesday night.
