'Duck Dynasty' Star Willie Robertson Just Made a Presidential Endorsement — and the Person Hasn't Even Declared Yet
April 13, 2015
"He's a godly man."
"Duck Dynasty" star Willie Robertson said during an interview on Fox News Radio Monday that he would endorse Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal (R) for president if he chooses to run.
"Why do you like him?" host Brian Kilmeade asked the A&E reality television star.
"Bobby is a great man," answered Robertson, who lives in Louisiana. "He's a godly man."
"If he chooses to go on, I know the values he has," the "Duck Dynasty" star continued. "And, I'm the kind of guy where I really like smart people ... and that guy is one of the smartest guys I have ever met in my life. He's just smart. He's run things."
Robertson concluded, "He's got the values, he's got the intelligence to do it. I'd love to see him run."
It's not clear, however, if Jindal will choose to run for president. If he does announce, the Louisiana governor will enter what is expected to be a crowded Republican field.
