New Innovation From the Islamic State: An All-Boy Execution Team

The Islamic State group has frequently used children in its propaganda – even babies — as a way to show that no age is too young to embark on the mission of jihad. It’s even positioned children in the role of killers.

But there was yet a new sick innovation this weekend from the self-declared caliphate: an all-boy execution team.

The latest video emerging from Iraq shows three boys with guns standing behind three accused spies. The boys, who appear to be young teenagers, wear full military fatigues and black Islamic State flag-print ski hats covering their hair.

Three men, dressed in orange prisoner jumpsuits and hands tied behind their backs, sit on their knees in front of the youths. They were accused of being “spies for the international coalition.”

The SITE intelligence group reported that the video was released by the Al-Furat Province of the Islamic State. Al-Furat encompasses territory in both Iraq and Syria and is Arabic for the Euphrates River.

In the video, an Uzbek fighter congratulates the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan for pledging allegiance earlier this month to Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

Another chilling image was spread by the jihadist group in recent days, showing a preschool child beheading a fluffy white teddy bear. He was reported to be the son of an Islamic State militant.
