Megyn Kelly Explodes On Guest Over How Democrats Treated Tea Party Rhetoric Vs. Black Lives Matter: 'Why the Double Standard?!

"Answer that!"

Fox News host Megyn Kelly grew frustrated Tuesday night over her guest's refusal to acknowledge the "double standard" in how Democrats treated rhetoric from the Tea Party as compared to the Black Lives Matter movement.

Kelly pointed to instances where Black Lives Matter activists have called for violence against police officers, asking why Democratic politicians who denounced the Tea Party for alleged violent rhetoric had suddenly become silent. Instead, the Fox News host contended that Democrats are "trying to tie themselves to the movement."

Guest Richard Fowler pushed back against Kelly's assertion that the Black Lives Matter movement has called for violence, dismissing her examples as isolated incidents.

That didn't sit well with Kelly.

"Why were they chanting, 'Pigs in a blanket, fry em' like bacon?' That was the Black Lives Matter movement in Minnesota! Why?" she said. "Why were so many on the left so quick to tie a few comments made by alleged Tea Party members to the entire Tea Party? How about that Richard? Answer that!"

Fowler kept insisting the movement was peaceful in nature, forcing Kelly to interject.

"Stop! Please stop. Just let me get the question out ... Richard, the people on the left we just showed were very quick to blame violence that happened in the country on what they alleged were a couple Tea Party comments that were found to be racist or incendiary. Why are they not outraged now ... suddenly the actions of a few do not apply to the many! Why the double standard?" Kelly asked.

Fowler claimed that there was evidence that tied violence to the Tea Party, which guest Katie Pavlich immediately disagreed with. Fowler also contended that there has been zero evidence tying the suspect who allegedly killed the Texas deputy over the weekend to the Black Lives Matter movement.
