Idaho State Police Release Dashcam Video of a Suspect Flying Through the Air After Losing Control of His Vehicle

Idaho State Police have released dashcam video of an encounter with a suspect who lost control of his vehicle and went flying through the air:

According to KTVB-TV, the incident took place on April 9, 2015, and was released by police this week.

The police chase began when a Boise police officer attempted to pull over Jose Manuel Sanchez, 33. Sanchez tried to evade police by hitting the police cruiser with his own vehicle.

The officer was left injured as Sanchez raced from the scene.

Police later caught up with Sanchez. He was arrested and is currently serving an 18-year sentence in prison. KTVB reports that Sanchez was booked on "a slew of felony charges" and was convicted in December for "battery on a law enforcement officer, drug possession and felony eluding."
