During a campaign event for Republican presidential candidate former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush in South Carolina on Tuesday, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) asked the audience, "How many of you are Democrats?"
Bush raised his hand.
Bush could be seen smirking and laughing afterward, suggesting that he may have been making an attempt at a joke.
Graham, undeterred, continued campaigning.
“It’s your country, too,” Graham said.
The moment received quite a bit of attention online.

Jeb has some breathtakingly bad political instincts. He's making a self-deprecating joke here (I think), but yeesh: https://t.co/VgmFw8AzTE— Guy Benson (@Guy Benson) 1455650714.0
