The Reason This 5-Year-Old Girl Joins Hands With Police Officers at a Restaurant Table Just Might Make Your Whole Week
June 03, 2016
"Her prayer was so beautiful."
A photo of a little girl praying with two police officers at a Texas restaurant is going viral — and for obvious reasons.
Two officers in Cedar Hill, Texas, were at a local restaurant this week when 5-year-old Chloe, who was with her father, approached them and asked if she could pray with them before eating, KDFW-TV reported.

Chloe's father took a picture of the little girl praying with the officers and sent it to the police department. The Cedar Hill Police Department later shared the image on its Facebook page. The photo has been shared more than 6,000 times.
"Today, while eating lunch, 5-year-old, Chloe, approached Cedar Hill Marshal's Herron and Wallace and asked them if she could pray with them," the Cedar Hill Police Department's Facebook post reads. "Marshals Herron and Wallace admit they've never had anyone pray with them and that her prayer was so beautiful. Her dad captured this photo of her praying with the officers and sent it to us."
"Our thanks to him for sharing this act of compassion with us," the post concludes.
