Democrats erupted in anger on the House floor on Tuesday immediately after Speaker Paul Ryan held a moment of silence for the victims of the Orlando terror attacks, shouting at him about gun control legislation.
“Where’s the bill?” Democrats shouted at Ryan.
The speaker's attempts to restore order in the House chambers were largely ignored. Watch the tense moment below:
Ryan spokeswoman AshLee Strong condemned the display, telling CBS News it’s “shameful that anyone would try to use a moment of silence honoring victims of a brutal terrorist attack to advance their own political agenda.”
At least 49 people were killed and over 50 more were injured in Sunday's terror attack.
Some Democrats objected to holding a moment of silence at all and participated in a “#NoMoreSilence” campaign in support of gun control after the Orlando attack.

The victims of #Orlando deserve more than a moment of silence from Congress. They deserve moments of courage & action. #WheresTheBill— Rep. Eric Swalwell (@Rep. Eric Swalwell) 1465858768.0
