Former Republican President George W. Bush did not cast his presidential vote for the party's nominee Donald Trump.
But he also didn't vote for Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, a spokesman told the Wall Street Journal.
Bush and his wife, Laura Bush, both voted early in Texas — but neither of them selected a major-party candidate.
The spokesman would not say whether they voted for one of the third-party candidates, Libertarian Gary Johnson or Green Party candidate Jill Stein, or chose a write-in candidate, WSJ reported.
Bush's father, former President George H.W. Bush, reportedly told former Maryland Lt. Gov. Kathleen Kennedy Townsend in Septmeber that he planned to vote for Clinton — but it's unclear whether the 41st president actually did.
