That video of Trump backer beaten up after election? New clip shows absolutely insane conclusion.

You might recall TheBlaze's stories about a Chicago man beaten in the street in broad daylight by four people the day after Republican Donald Trump won the presidency — all while cellphone video rolled.

David Wilcox, 49, told WBBM-TV he exited his car following a fender bender when someone nearby yelled, “That’s one of those white boy Trump supporters!” He told the station his reply: “What does that have to do with this? We’re talking about insurance here.’”

With that Wilcox was seen on the clip getting kicked and punched by the gang of four while onlookers hooted and hollered, "Don’t vote Trump!” When one of Wilcox's attackers got behind the wheel of his car, the victim grabbed the back window and held on while being dragged down a street and out of frame. Wilcox said he held on for five blocks until his strength gave out.

The Inquisitr posted surveillance video Thursday it said it obtained from the Chicago Department of Transportation via the Freedom of Information Act showing what happened to Wilcox at the end of his ordeal — and let's just say it's remarkable he lived to tell his story.

Hanging on to the outside of his car while his attacker swerved and sped through traffic, the new clip shows Wilcox finally letting go and tumbling into the street as his attacker drives off.

Miraculously Wilcox didn't get hit by another car — and he got up fairly quickly and started picking up belongings while other cars stopped. Wilcox credited a parole agent driving a black four-door car with helping to slow oncoming traffic, the Inquisitr reported.

Less than two weeks later, authorities charged 26-year-old Julian Christian, 21-year-old Rajane Lewis, 20-year-old Dejuan Collins and an unidentified 17-year-old girl with vehicular hijacking.

Wilcox said he plans to show up for all the suspects' court dates.
