Academy Award-winning actor Morgan Freeman not only endorsed Hillary Clinton for president last year, he also narrated political ads for the future Democratic nominee.
And Freeman seemed to make clear his stance on Donald Trump during an October 2015 interview with Gayle King on "CBS This Morning," the Orlando Sentinel reported.
King asked Freeman if Trump — then in the middle of his presidential campaign — might make an appearance on "Madam Secretary," a political drama Freeman executive produces.
Freeman replied, "Who?"
King seemed to get the hint. "Never mind," she said.
But Freeman apparently isn't saying "who?" when it comes to Trump these days.
Freeman appears on the cover of AARP magazine this month and said in an excerpt provided to the Daily Mail that "it feels like we are jumping off a cliff" since the election. But he added that he's "not scared."
"We just have to find out how we land," Freeman said.
He added: “I’m holding out hope that Donald Trump has to be a good president. He can’t not be. What I see is a guy who will not lose.”
