Mom shows up at school, unleashes beating on daughter's rival. But she was just warming up.

After her teenage daughter was in a fight with a group of girls, police say Ernstlatta LaFrance took matters into her own hands.

Police told WPLG-TV that the 30-year-old mother showed up in the parking lot of Miami Carol City Senior High School during dismissal Monday. And she zeroed in on her daughter's rival, police told the Miami Herald.

The teen victim was on her iPhone when LaFrance repeatedly punched her in the face and pulled her hair, the station said, citing an arrest report. Police said the victim dropped her cellphone, and LaFrance picked it up and drove away from the Miami Gardens school, WPLG said. LaFrance was with her partner Erlisa Evans and  LaFrance's daughter, the Herald reported.

The victim told police that LaFrance was angry about an altercation between LaFrance's daughter and the victim's sister, the station said.

But things were far from over.

The victim showed up with her friends at LaFrance’s residence in Opa-locka to retrieve her cellphone later that day, the Herald said. With that, LaFrance took an ax to the victim's car and broke the victim's middle finger, the paper said, citing a police report.

Evans, 28, then came outside and fired three shots into the air, police told the Herald.

That isn't all.

Police told the paper that LaFrance then posted a video of the fight on Facebook “and warned those messing with her daughter to beware,” according to an officer's account.  LaFrance "bragged on Facebook telling the victim that suffering two black eyes was not the end and she would use a gun," the officer said.

LaFrance was arrested Tuesday, WPLG said. She also admitted to getting in a fight with the teen victim and that her girlfriend fired the shots, the Herald said, citing the police report. LaFrance faces numerous charges, including strong-armed robbery, child abuse and aggravated battery, the paper said.  She was also being held Wednesday in jail on a $38,000 bond, the paper reported.

LaFrance was livid over her daughter getting jumped by a group of girls, WPLG reported, citing a Facebook page apparently belonging to LaFrance's daughter.

"Ian arguing with nobody!!! Cause if yo child got jumped and maced by like 20 girls u will do the same," the post noted, WPLG reported.

The station noted another Facebook post apparently from the girl's apologetic father.

"Pray for my daughter and her mother for the wrong decision they made yesterday," the Tuesday post read, WPLG said. "No one is perfect. The worst done happen, now pray for the best. God know[s] how to handle this. I would like to apologize to [the] girl's family."
