Breaking: Time Warner Center evacuated again - police find several suspicious packages

Law enforcement officials investigated numerous suspicious packages discovered on the third floor of the Time Warner Center in New York City Thursday. An evacuation was conducted on several levels of the building, but police concluded the packages were not dangerous.

Early reports said that the entire building was being evacuated, but police say only selected levels were emptied out of precaution as they investigated the packages.

"As a precaution, the NYPD is currently evaluating a pair of unattended packages at the Time Warner Center Mall," read a tweet from the official Deputy Commissioner for Public Information social media account. "More information will be released as it becomes available."

Investigators were looking at the suspicious packages, but the bomb squad was not sent to the scene, according to Fox News.

Some reports indicated that CNN offices were evacuated, but only part of the mall was cleared. NYPD indicated that no hazardous items were found.

This is the second time in as many days that the Time Warner Center has seen an evacuation as they were targeted for one of the 10 package bombs that was sent to Democratic politicians and media figures Wednesday. No explosions were triggered and the devices are being investigated by the FBI.

A report Thursday indicated that investigators believed the suspicious packages might have been sent from someone in Florida.

Several people posted photos and videos on social media of the evacuation process:
