Bill Maher exposes media hypocrisy in Ukraine scandal, takes aim at MSNBC's Rachel Maddow

Bill Maher excoriated Joe Biden on HBO's "Real Time" Friday over Hunter Biden's alleged corruption in Ukraine — and pointed out apparent media hypocrisy in the process.

"The more I read about this — you know, I don't think he was doing something terrible in Ukraine, but it's just so — why can't politicians tell their f**king kids, 'Get a job? Get a god***n job!'" Maher said.

"This kid was paid $600,000 because his name is Biden by a gas company in Ukraine, this super corrupt country that just had a revolution to get rid of corruption," Maher continued. "It just looks bad, and the Republicans are geniuses at muddying the water. It's all gonna be about, 'You did this in Ukraine? Well, Joe Biden did this.'"

Maher went on to invoke President Donald Trump's children — specifically Donald Trump Jr. — and slammed MSNBC host Rachel Maddow for apparent hypocrisy.

"It does sound like something Don Jr. would do, and and if Don Jr. did it, it would be all Rachel Maddow was talking about." he said of Hunter Biden's actions.

The implication of Maher's comment, of course, is that Maddow is not exclusively covering the Ukraine scandal from the Hunter Biden angle because the Biden's are Democrats, but she would devote her energy to the story if it centered on Donald Trump Jr. because the Trump's are Republicans.
