Video shows huge brawl erupt at Chicago's O'Hare Airport, arrests made

Arrests were made after a huge brawl broke out at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport.

Viral video shows the moment that a fight erupted at the baggage claim area in Chicago's O'Hare Airport around 11:05 p.m. on Monday. The fight featured a flurry of flying fists between recent flyers.

Cell phone camera footage appears to show a man dressed in all-white being one of the main aggressors. The individual slammed a man down on the conveyor belt and kicked him in the face. He then approached a woman from behind, threw her onto the ground, and punched the defenseless woman.

Several female fighters were seen pulling hair and tackling each other.

One woman can be heard screaming, "Security! Security!"

People attempted to break up the brouhaha, but the scrum continued.

A 24-year-old woman was treated for minor injuries, according to authorities.

Two adults were arrested and hit with misdemeanor charges.

WMAQ-TV reported, "Police said an 18-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman, both from the suburbs, were both charged with one misdemeanor count of battery, and were placed into custody following the incident."

Chicago police arrested Christopher Hampton, 18, of Maywood, Illinois, and Tembra Hicks, 20, of Carol Stream, Illinois.

A witness said there was a verbal dispute between three air travelers while disembarking a commercial airliner. The situation escalated into a full-blown brawl at the baggage claim area inside Terminal 3 at O'Hare.

"A verbal dispute while deplaning escalated in the lower level of terminal 3 when a 24-year-old female victim was punched by two offenders," the Chicago Police Department said in a statement to Fox News.

"Safety and security are always the top priorities of the Chicago Department of Aviation," the operator of the airport told WFLD. "We work closely with all of our federal partners present at O'Hare and Midway International Airports and the Chicago Police Department to ensure that everyone is safe when they are in our facilities."
