FBI arrests Kings G League player in connection to 23-year-old woman's kidnapping in Las Vegas

The FBI arrested a G League basketball player in connection to the kidnapping of a 23-year-old woman in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Chance Comanche, 27, was a center for the Stockton Kings basketball team – the G League affiliate for the NBA's Sacramento Kings.

Comanche was taken into custody by an FBI apprehension team on Friday, according to multiple reports. Comanche was reportedly booked into the Sacramento County Jail and charged with first-degree kidnapping.

The missing woman in question is Marayna Rodgers – a Washington medical assistant.

Rodgers, 23, went missing on Dec. 6 while on a trip to visit friends in Las Vegas.

Fox News speculated, "Comanche had played a G League game against the developmental team, the G League Ignite, in Henderson, Nevada on Dec. 5 – the night before Rodgers went missing. Henderson is 15 miles away from Las Vegas, and it’s unclear exactly how long Comanche stayed in Sin City."

Comanche is the second suspect who has been taken into custody in Marayna's disappearance.

Sakari Harnden, 19, faces a first-degree kidnapping charge in connection with the disappearance of Rodgers.

Rodgers was seen getting into a car with Harnden, shortly before she disappeared.

KLAS-TV reported, "A criminal complaint for the kidnapping charge against Harnden stated that she held or detained Rodgers against her will and without her consent for the purpose of killing her and/or inflicting bodily harm."

In a separate case also in Las Vegas Justice Court, Harnden is facing a theft charge. She was accused of stealing at least one Rolex watch, according to a criminal complaint.

Las Vegas Justice Court Judge Diana Sullivan set Harnden’s bail at $500,000 on Dec. 14, according to court records.

Comanche was released by the Stockton Kings shortly after the arrest.

The Kings and the NBA did not immediately answer a request for comment from Fox News.

So far this season, Comanche was averaging 14 points, 7 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game for Stockton in 24.7 minutes.

Comanche has a court date set for Dec. 19.

Anyone with information on the missing woman case is urged to contact the Las Vegas Metro Police at (702) 828-3111. Tips can be submitted anonymously through Crimestoppers at (702) 385-5555.
