House Republicans allege Biden 'personally participated in' his family's multimillion-dollar global business dealings

Republican Representatives James Comer of Kentucky and Jim Jordan of Ohio announced in a press conference on Thursday that House Republicans compiled evidence that President Joe Biden allegedly had direct involvement with his family's business ventures, including with his son Hunter.

"Was Joe Biden directly involved with Hunter Biden's business deals, and is he compromised? That's our investigation," Comer stated.

Along with the announcement, House Republicans released a report outlining the findings of their investigation.

"Today we're going to provide you with something that you all aren't used to with respect to congressional investigations – and that's evidence," Comer said, referring to the public's loss of confidence in the Oversight Committee following Democrat Representative Adam Schiff's repeated baseless investigations.

Comer explained that, during the investigation into Biden, Republicans had spoken to "multiple whistleblowers" who claimed to be connected to "numerous schemes involving the Biden family."

Comer noted that Hunter's laptop revealed previously unknown business dealings.

According to Comer, some of the family's transactions involved foreign actors with close ties to China and Russia.

"The Bidens flourished and became millionaires by simply offering access to the family," said Comer.

The committee accused Biden of sharing finances, credit cards, and bank accounts with Hunter and his brother, James. Comer noted that some of the family’s accounts were flagged by banks with suspicious activity reports.

SARs reports are filed with the treasury when an account is believed to be involved in money laundering, fraud, or other possible illegal activity.

"The Biden family accumulated over 150 SARs," Comer claimed. "One SAR reported by an American bank to the treasury department connected Hunter Biden and his business associates to international human trafficking, among other illegal activities."

Committee Republicans accused the Biden family of defrauding the United States, wire fraud, money laundering, tax evasion, violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act and the Trafficking Victims Protection Act, and other crimes.

House Republicans concluded that their investigation revealed that Biden lied to the American people by repeatedly stating he had no involvement with his family's foreign business ventures.

"Evidence indicates that President Joe Biden personally participated in and benefitted from these financial ventures, leaving him open to influence, blackmail, or extortion by malign or foreign entities such as the CCP," the report stated.

Committee Republicans vowed to continue investigating Biden and provide updates to the public.
