Armed men pretended to deliver Taco Bell food for Door Dash, but an armed occupant thwarted the home invasion and killed one

Two armed males attempted a home invasion by pretending to be Door Dash delivery men dropping off Taco Bell food, but one of the residents pulled out a gun and killed one of the suspects.

Police found 18-year-old Grayson Rhue of Roswell, Georgia, dead from multiple wounds lying in the driveway outside of a home in Noblesville, Georgia, on April 6.

Court documents said that Rhue and an accomplice allegedly purchased “quesaritos” along with two Baja Blast freeze drinks at Taco Bell, dressed up as Door Dash delivery drivers, and rang the bell at a home nearby.

When one of the occupants opened the front door, they forced their way inside.

“Go inside, don’t make any noise," Rhue said to the person who answered the door.

The two allegedly pointed a gun at the three occupants who were house-sitting at the home. That's when one of the occupants pulled their own gun and shot at the two suspects.

Rhue ran out the front door and died about two houses away from the incident.

Police said they found a stolen handgun beneath the DoorDash bag that Rhue dropped on the way out.

They later arrested a suspect they believe to be his accomplice and identified as 22-year-old Ruai Ngundeng Pal at his hometown of Franklin, Tennessee.

Police said that Pal will be charged with murder, as well as other charges, including armed robbery and burglary with a deadly weapon.

Court documents said that police were able to trace Pal through hotel footage to be at the same hotel as Rhue.

They were also able to find evidence in the form of a conversation that Rhue had on Snapchat.

“Yeah we robbed his trap. I’ll be back tommorw I’m robbin his house tonight then driving straight back," he allegedly wrote.
