Liberals pounce after Dennis Prager says he's tested positive for the coronavirus

Radio talk show host Dennis Prager announced that he had contracted the coronavirus and many on the left pounced on the news to mock him.

Prager told his audience his medical diagnosis on Monday but added that he had been trying to contract the virus in order to obtain natural immunity.

"I'm broadcasting from my home because I'm not going into the station, as I have COVID," Prager said.

"I tested positive last week and I have been steadily improving, at no point was I in danger of hospitalization," he added.

Prager, 73, went on to discuss the various medical treatments he had been taking before contracting the coronavirus, including hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin. He also said he had purposely tried to contract the virus.

"I have done what a person should do if one is not going to get vaccinated," he continued.

"It is infinitely preferable to have natural immunity than vaccine immunity and that is what I have hoped for the entire time," Prager explained. "Hence, so, I have engaged with strangers, constantly hugging them, taking photos with them knowing that I was making myself very susceptible to getting COVID, which is, indeed, as bizarre as it sounded, what I wanted, in the hope I would achieve natural immunity and be taken care of by therapeutics. That is exactly what has happened. It should have happened to the great majority of Americans."

He went on to say that getting the coronavirus was like a "high" for him because he was "thrilled" to be on his way to natural immunity.

Some critics of Prager took to social media to mock him over the announcement.

"Dennis Prager announced he has the coronavirus. COVID is out here collecting conservative radio hosts like they're Pokemon cards," replied comedian Nick Jack Pappas.

"Anyone TRYING to get infected SHOULD be treated with disdain & called out for stupidity. OVERWHELMING evidence says this is not only worse for the patient & more costly to taxpayers, but also dangerous to those around him. Dennis Prager will likely recover but others will pay," tweeted Howard Forman.

"Shame on you for continuing to spread such dangerous disinformation. Shame on you for not caring whether your audience lives or dies," tweeted former Republican congressman Joe Walsh.

"I hope this ignorant piece of s*** needs a ventilator and can't get one because they're all being used by people he influenced," tweeted another user with a blue checkmark.

Elsewhere during his show, Prager pointed out that if he died of coronavirus that it will be plastered all over the news, but that if he recovers it won't make any news at all.
