Insane video captures the moment a huge, 40-person brawl breaks out at Golden Corral restaurant

Video captured the moment that dozens of Golden Corral buffet restaurant diners engaged in an all-out brawl, breaking restaurant furniture in the process.

According to various reports, the massive fight broke out after the Bensalem, Pennsylvania, restaurant ran out of steak.

What are the details?

Footage from the Friday brawl showed a large mob of angry, screaming patrons throwing punches and demolishing tables and chairs inside the eatery as other people in the restaurant attempted to take cover from flying fists and furniture.

Employees tried in vain to stop the fight, but some ended up in the center of the melee trying to defend themselves from flying objects.

In the video, at least one man can be heard shouting that he "just" wanted some steak.

Facebook user Gavin Lauretta shared the now-viral video to his Facebook page and told KYW-TV that the fight began when two separate families began to fight over the dwindling steak supply.

“There was a shortage of steak and two parties were involved and one family cut in front of another family,” Lauretta said. “They were taking their time and they ran out of steak and it got into a heated exchange at the tables.”

Former employee Dylan Becker told WCJB-TV that he's never witnessed anything like that in a Golden Corral before.

"There was two parties in line waiting for steak. Somebody had cut in front and then started being picky and finicky about the steaks and taking too long, and then, somebody else spoke up and said something I guess the other party didn’t like," he told the station. "Then, it just looks like it turned into an all-out brawl."
