Glenn Reynolds: 'Trump is FDR with the fireside tweet

Buck talks with law professor and USA Today columnist Glenn Reynolds, whose recent article "Trump is FDR with the fireside tweet" explored the similarities between President-elect Donald Trump and President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Glenn maintains that Trump uses Twitter to emotionally connect with the American people much like how F.D.R. did back in the late 1930s using radio. Glenn shares his thoughts on Trump's Carrier deal and how nicely Trump's presidential Cabinet is shaping up so far.

"Trump made that specific promise about Carrier. President Obama actually mocked him about it ... and then Trump went and did it. I think that's pretty good, and it does symbolize caring," Glenn remarks. "The interesting thing is overall ... a lot of people thought he [Trump] was going to come in and basically be a false flag and be a Democrat but this is probably one of the most conservative executive branches we've seen in decades."
