Salcedo: Susan Rice ought to testify before Congress

Former national security adviser Susan Rice has been in the news of late with reports of her requesting the names of certain individuals connected with President Donald Trump’s transition team be “unmasked” in intelligence reports she received.

When the report initially surfaced, Rice denied having made the request at all. Today, however, in an appearance on MSNBC, she admitted that she did, in fact, request that the names be unmasked. After this admission, her latest denial is that it was for political purposes.

Chris Salcedo offered analysis on Rice’s admission today on “The Chris Salcedo Show,” arguing that Rice ought to appear before Congress and testify on this matter:

“Her butt needs to get in front of a committee, under oath, and we need to know what she knew, when she knew it and what Obama knew when Obama knew it and did Susan Rice collude with the Obama Administration and partisans in the intelligence community to unmask and disseminate the identities of the incoming administration’s folks – post election.”

Chris also suggested that the reason Rice decided to appear on MSNBC was because of the higher likelihood that she would receive softball questions.
