The president tweets a misspelled word, now the internet is racing to find out what ‘covfefe’ means

Is it a food dish? A password? A nickname? On Wednesday’s “The Morning Blaze with Doc Thompson” the guys discussed “covfefe,” a mysterious word given to the world by President Donald Trump in an overnight tweet.

An hour after Trump tweeted “Despite the constant negative press covfefe,” the word coined in his misspelling became the No. 1 trend worldwide. The tweet was deleted, but Trump followed it up with “Who can figure out the true meaning of "covfefe" ??? Enjoy!” No one seems to know what the president meant to tweet or what the misspelled word was supposed to say — but “The Morning Blaze” crew had some ideas.

“He fell asleep in mid-tweet,” Doc Thompson explained.

Kris Cruz’s theory was that it was Trump’s Twitter password, referencing the time that Press Secretary Sean Spicer tweeted a string of characters that appeared to be a password to something. Another possibility was that it was a family pet name.

“Maybe it’s just what he calls Ivanka,” Kris hypothesized.

“‘Come here my little covfefe,’” Kal tried it out.

“The Morning Blaze” audience got in on the action, too, tweeting under #DefineCovfefe with their theories.
